Noland Anderson's art is a celebration of people of color, painted in detail using oils applied with loose brush strokes on textured canvas surfaces, images of women and men being captured in simple everyday urban life,
Born in Newport News, Virginia, Noland's passion of figure drawing was formed at an early age. Working in pencil, pastels, acrylics and eventually oils. Noland attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale where he received an Associate Degree in Advertising. Upon graduating he went on to work as a freelance illustrator, designing Judaic throughout the mid 90's and 2,000's. During this period, Noland's freelance work extended into television where he worked as one of three Court Artist for the ABC affiliate in South Florida and as an illustrator for Univision (an American media company serving the Latin Market worldwide).

Noland was a Semifinalist in the Sapphire Artesian Series, Awarded Third Place in the 2017 Opus Art Exhibition and also received an Honorable mention in the Blank Art Space 2017 Color Art Contest.
